Synopsis
7 is the seventh studio album by Lebanese recording artist Nancy Ajram, released on September 6, 2010. With this album, Ajram explores a new range of sounds and genres for the first time, and more than she did in any of her previous albums. 7 was coproduced by In2Musica and Arabica Music, which previously produced Nancy's hit single "Sallimouly Aleih".

Ajram continues her signature styles of Egyptian "Maksoum", Lebanese pop, as well as soft pop and soft rock. However, she progresses into more urban and modern sounds, as well as new genres such as electropop. The changes in lyrical content from Nancy's previous album include songs that refer to Nancy's relationship with her parents and child, as well as one that discusses feelings about love and youth. The lead single is a slow song, contrary to all of Nancy's previous best-sellers which were all fast maksoum-influenced songs.

7 came two years after Nancy's previous best-seller Betfakkar Fi Eih?!, and is Nancy's 4th album to debut at #1. 7 is considered one of Nancy's best come back albums that stabiltized her spot at the very top of the Arabic pop tree.
